About Al


Growing up Al was always fascinated by those who used their voice to earn a living. Whether it be sports, news or show hosts on radio or TV he always knew he wanted to be a part of this business.

Al’s first taste of broadcasting came at age eight when he was interviewed live on-air for a local radio program outside a store.

Al would get serious about this vocation during his final year at Hamilton’s McMaster University. When the school acquired an FM license Al wasted no time joining the station where he would produce and read weekend sports updates as well as take turns doing hockey and basketball play by play.
SPORTS COMMENTATING

Over 25 years with Cogeco and Rogers, Al provides hosting and play by play of sports such as hockey, curling, golf, baseball, football and lacrosse across the province of Ontario.
COMMUNITY EVENTS
He has hosted coverage of several events including parades, a Federal candidates’ debate and has hosted various commuinty and public affairs programming.
CORPORATE EVENTS
Al has experience narrating and voicing videos , as well as being an emcee at events. Other examples of video narration available on request.
